Cedric The Entertainer to Co-Host 2007 Super Bowl Gospel Celebration - Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond, Hezekiah Walker Among Gospel Icons Teaming with NF
ATLANTA, GA (PRWeb) January 23, 2007 -- Atlanta-based entertainment production company, Results, Inc. today announced the confirmation of comedian Cedric The Entertainer as co-host of the 8th Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration. Results, Inc. president, Melanie Few, the event's founder and executive producer, made the announcement. Additionally, Few announced that Kyle Bowser, veteran producer of television and live events will serve as an Executive Producer of this year's event. Plans for unveiling a new look for the concert, which maintains its distinguished tradition as the first and only Gospel music event sanctioned for Super Bowl weekend by the National Football League (NFL) were also announced. Miami's James L. Knight Center will be the new home of the show, which is scheduled for Friday, February 2, 2007 at 8:00 p.m. and features performances from Grammy award-winning artists including Yolanda Adams, Fred Hammond and Hezekiah Walker.
Presented by Sam's Club, the inspirational evening celebrates the best of the human spirit and was ranked by USA Today in 2006 as one of the top 3 "must see" events. Additional artists confirmed to date include J Moss, Tye Tribbett and Jaci Velasquez. Among the NFL players scheduled for special guest appearances are: Mike Adams (49ers), Shawn Barber (Eagles), Anquan Boldin (Cardinals), Andre Davis (Buffalo Bills), Derrick Dockery (Redskins), Jamin Elliott (Falcons), Demetric Evans (Redskins), Tommie Harris (Bears), William Henderson (Packers), Michael Lehan (Dolphins), Derrick Mason (Ravens), Bryant McKinnie (Vikings), Shawne Merriman (Chargers), Jeffery Posey (Redskins), Antwaan Randle El (Redskins), Will Smith (Saints), Donnie Spragan (Dolphins), Max Starks (Steelers) and Troy Vincent (Redskins).

In his capacity as Executive Producer of the 8th Annual Super Bowl Gospel Celebration, Bowser brings expertise garnered via a career that has spanned two decades. Bowser has produced an impressive roster of television features and specials such as the Lifetime original movie, "For One Night" and the "E! Super Bowl Special," which was produced in conjunction with Super Bowl XXXVII weekend. Over the course of his entertainment career, Bowser has held executive positions with Fox Broadcasting Company, HBO Independent Productions, NFL Films and Philadelphia's MLK Arena.
