ManiaTV.com Host "CJ Christy" to Give Special Presentation for Music Video of the Year at the Plug Independent Music Awards 2007

New York City, NY (Billboard Publicity Wire) February 1, 2007 -- ManiaTV.com, the first and only live Internet TV Network announced today that resident celebrity host, CJ Christy will be unveiling a special presentation for the Plug Music Video of the Year Award along with "Indie" cult favorite, David Cross. The event will take place at Irving Plaza in New York City on Feb. 10, 2007. Christy will join prominent musicians, film makers and artists in recognizing the talent often overlooked by popular culture and will be personally taping much of the event for air on ManiaTV!'s live and on demand Internet TV platform.

Christy, ManiaTV's "Indie Queen," cyber jockey has amassed a huge following with her twice daily live show "Daily Independent" which features the hottest in underground culture and independent music. Because there is no other place showcasing music videos by independent artists on a daily basis, her show is looked to as a trusted filter for the "indie" lifestyle. CJ Christy and the Daily Indie have become built legions of loyal followers with thousands of viewers each day tuning in LIVE to see one of the hundreds of exclusive Artist of the Day interviews and the latest fashion and industry trends.

The deal to have Christy present with David Cross was brokered between Stefan Goldby, ManiaTV.com Head of Music Programming and the core PLUG executives, Gerry Hart and Greg Bresnitz.

Christy will be video-blogging for the live network and her personal Internet TV channel as part of a product integration ad buy with Sony HDD Cam. She will conduct interviews, shoot live performances, and take ManiaTV.com viewers backstage for an unfiltered glimpse into the lives of some of the most talented emerging artists on the scene. ManiaTV! will be airing highlights of the evening on the live 24-hour network and making the best footage available on-demand.
