Cindy Margolis to Host Project Beverly Hills Pesented by Project Cuddle

(PRWEB) September 21, 2007 -- Sunday September 23rd from 11:30am-2pm Project Cuddle will present the first annual children's fashion show and fundraiser to benefit abandoned babies. The event will take place at the International Ballroom of the Beverly Hilton hotel and will be hosted by model/actress Cindy Margolis.

Entertainment will include a special performance by Kristy Frank and guest dj Icey Ice from Movin '93.9 fm. The highlight of the event will be an all kids fashion show sporting the Honey Colection New York clothing line and also featuring the adult clothing line of And Cake.

Project Cuddle was founded by Debbie Magnusen. Debbe Magnusen has fostered over 30 drug-exposed babies, while raising two biological children. Eventually, she adopted five children, and thus, began the start of Project Cuddle®. Project Cuddle's® crisis line was formed from the living room of Debbie's home with the hope of ending baby abandonment. Statistics indicate that every day, 57 children are abandoned, on average. That's more than 20,000 per year -- and those are only the ones that are found.

Project Cuddle's® mission is to inform community members that frightened girls and women, some of whom may be hiding their pregnancy, can call anytime for confidential, safe and legal help. Project Cuddle® was incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) non-profit charity in 1994. A volunteer Board of Directors oversees the organization which Debbe runs on a day-to-day basis with the assistance of volunteers and a minimally-paid staff.

Hosted by Cindy Margolis, the fashion show will feature such stars as Hunter Allan, Allen Alvarado, Lauren Storm, Kristy Frank, Dayanara Torres, and more along with children rescued by Project Cuddle. Funds are raised through ticket sales, sponsors, silent and live Auction items with all proceeds going to benefit Project Cuddle and the prevention of baby abandonment.
